Fellowship in Gynaecological Endoscopy

Quext Healthcare brings you the opportunity to train with different experts in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. We offer short duration fellowship of 4 weeks. We bring you this opportunity, since Laproscopy is an upcoming technique which is applicable for diagnosis as well as for corrective treatments. We endeavour to bring best experts who are inclined to teach. For all gynaecologists this is a skill required in today’s age and environment of endoscopic treatment.

 The learning will happen through various learning methods like Observership, case discussions, reference reading material etc.   Student will be given opportunity to observe, assist based on the capability of the student and permission of the patient.  The certificate issued on successful completion of the clinical rotation is not a registrable qualification.

• The steps to be followed are as follows:

  • • 1. Send us copies of your Medical Council Registration, medical degrees, and your CV in the specified format.
      2. Send us your statement of Purpose of Motivation letter stating your learning objectives.
      3. Let us know preferred & suitable time slot for your rotation. We typically start on First Monday of the month
      4. Your request with documents provided by you will be sent for eligibility confirmation and availability of time slot requested by you.
      5. On receiving confirmation, the eligibility confirmation cum proforma invoice will be sent to you. The initial booking amount needs be paid as mentioned in Proforma Invoice. 
      6. Our concierge service can help you book the travel and Stay.
      7. Pay the balance fee as per the schedule given in the Proforma Invoice and start making the plans for joining the clinical rotation.
      8. You will receive an undertaking to be signed by you. Please go through the undertaking carefully and send us the signed copy of the same.
      9. On receiving the signed declaration, you will receive the intimation of joining guidelines for your clinical rotation.
      10. Please carry your and your address proof & original certificates for verification by the teaching hospital.

1. As the Clinical Rotation are conducted in private hospitals, to protect the interest of the patients and as per medical ethics, the student will only observe the patients and surgeries. The intention is to give the student opportunity to learn through hands-on experience, however, the decision to provide wash-up or scrub opportunity to the student will be taken by the mentor during the rotation period depending on the skills and knowledge of the student.
2. This is full time learning opportunity, student is expected to be present for minimum 10 hours for 6 days a week.
3. Medical Council registration is required.
4. The cost of medical council registration will be borne by the student. The rotation duration is minimum 4 weeks or as defined in eligibility confirmation letter. The clinical rotation period is without a break. There are pre-defined  start and end dates. Students need to comply to the pre-defined dates.
5. Patient flow with any mentor and at different time of the year can not be predicted and cannot be committed to.
6. A student is expected to travel to learn , if required where ever the mentor is conducting a case. The student could be asked to be present to assist / observe a case at any time of the day.
7. The registration is valid for 6 months. The student must join the rotation within 6 months of registration date.
8. The Initial Instalment of fees paid by the student is non-refundable under all conditions. In case of cancellation of rotation by the mentor or teaching hospital, the same will be re-scheduled & no refund will be given.
9. This proforma invoice defines the scheduled dates of your rotation. The same can be modified only once, minimum one month before the joining date. The modification request must be sent on fellowships@quexst.com in writing. the new scheduled date must be within 6 months of date of registration.
