We offer short duration fellowship of 4 weeks. aesthetic medicine is the specialty that deals with the modification of an individual’s physical appearance for any number of reasons. The scope of aesthetic medicine ranges from invasive procedures such as reconstructive surgery to non-invasive procedures that do not require general anesthesia. Over the past few years there has been an increased demand for non-invasive cosmetic procedures, with millions of Botox procedures performed each year. Other non-invasive treatments that have increased in popularity in recent years include sclerotherapy, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and hyaluronic acid fillers.
To meet the increased demand for aesthetic procedures, medical professionals have been expanding their scope of practice by obtaining certifications in aesthetic medicine.
The duration of clinical rotation is 4 weeks. It is fully practice based, with learning on models and real patients. Student will be given opportunity to observe, assist based on the capability of the student and permission of the patient. You will receive the course certificate from International Cosmetology Academy The certificate issued on successful completion of the clinical rotation is not a registrable qualification.
