LEARNING MODEL

The online certificate program in Pediatric Infections is developed for all those who are MBBS graduates and above. The program through Evidence based learning approach guides the practicing medical graduates. The course is offered by distance learning method where by the student will log-in on the Learning Management System and study the subject through the video lectures. The course offers full flexibility allowing the student to study the lectures any time, any number of times. As this is an eLearning course, the assessments are done through MCQ based online tests.

The course lectures are delivered through the online learning and assessment platform, our Learning Management system (LMS)

The course duration is 12 weeks. There are 8 modules, having totally 40 lectures. On completion of every module, the student has to give a short module end test. All assessments are MCQ based examination. After all module study and assessments are complete, the student gives a final MCQ based examination. On successful completion of final examination, a certificate of completion will be issued. The course certificate is not a registrable qualification.

The student gets a chance to reappear for the examination once if the first attempt is unsuccessful.

DURATION & TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The course duration is 12 weeks from the start date of the course. However, in case the student is unable to complete the study and final examination in stipulated time, on request the student is given maximum additional 12 weeks to complete the course. In case the student wants to continue the study further to complete the course beyond 24 weeks, the student will need to pay applicable administrative fees and continue and finish the course in further time allocated for completion.

The student is given eligibility based on the medical council registration details submitted by him/her. In case the details are false, the student cannot be given course certificate and will not be given any refund of fees. Student once registered cannot withdraw from the course and will not be given refund of fees, once paid.

All Allopathy practitioners, registered with National Medical Commission, India are eligible.  All those who are registered with NMC, need to submit their Medical Council Name and Number for eligibility confirmation.

Foreign Nationals need to submit their license to practice for eligibility confirmation.

This program is useful for all doctors who have patients in age group of neonatal to age 16.

It is useful for Physicians, Paediatricians, Gen practitioners and community and family medicine practitioners.

The certificate issued on successful completion is not a registrable qualification. This program is for knowledge upgrade and only those doctors having a licence to practice allopathic medicine are eligible to get the certificate, others can get ‘study only’ option.

This program covers, diagnosis and treatment in details and fully practice oriented to the level of guidance on best practices and how to set up the clinic

The eligibility requirement is Allopathic Qualified practicing doctor, with Minimum qualification  required is MBBS

We suggest student should study lecture on regular basis. This course is specially designed for doctors, therefore the lectures are available 24*7. The lectures can be accessed any time, any number of times, so you can study them as per your convenience. These are not time bound.  You can complete the course in shorter period, but we suggest you give more time to study to be able  to complete assessment tests in effective manner

The program covers major infections that a practitioner must know including Corona virus.

 

The program has many pictures and detailed descriptions to help understand the disease well.

Only those who have registrable qualification in Paediatrics and practice as a paediatricians.
